Great podcast. I plan to write in the margins of a book and then sent it to my bff (my cousin) in Maryland. Thanks.

Great ‘cast! I loved the idea of making soap…at first it seemed a little to “naturalistic” (I’m still recovering from growing up with a health-food mom), but the more I think about it, the more I like it. Tucking in a couple of custom-made soaps with a handknitted baby hat? Both charming and cheap!

I made my first batch of soap… I used what I had in my garden to spice it up… The lavendar and oatmeal looks the prettiest. I tried speariment and oatmeal too. That smells the best but you have to get over all the green in the soap! Thanks for the idea.

I love your podcast! Please keep doing them. I know you must be busy, but they’re marvelous, and I can’t wait until your life calms down and you have time again.

Dear Cara and Andrea,
I too am eager to hear your melodious voices again. Is there a way you can let us know “automatically” through email when you post a new podcast? Been also wondering if you’d be also willing to post a list of upcoming topics. I KNOW I will plan my calendar accordingly.
Yours,
Ms Woodhouse

Girls! We have not forgotten the podcast! Please don’t stop listening.
We are recupperating from an unusually busy summer and getting used to an unusually busy fall. I’m trying to pin down Cara to get together for a season premiere podcaast, so don’t you worry. We’re not dead. Yesterday I got a postcard from Barbara in Paris and my heart leaped a thousand leaps. Barbara, do you know my love for Paris? Do you? I want to write back to you, but your return address is hard to read and I can’t figure it out. I want to show you my photos from Paris on my blogspot. Email me, dear!
Anyway, I’m calling Cara right now so we can get a date on the calendar. Forgive us for our negligence and know that these old fashioned girls are still alive and well!

Yes, it’s true. We recorded a new podcast on Wednesday. From here on out we plan to do one every month, a much more realistic goal. So stayed tuned for An Old Fashioned Girl #6, coming soon!
